cross stitch fever has hit my wife and daughter.
so, having photoshop to plan and a spare needle, thread and aida to hand, and using one of my old drawings, I thought I'd give it a go. took ages and ages!

it's a bit like pixel by pixel in paint, lol!

some work for charity, each character painted on a door each, in enamels.

not the easiest of mediums to work with.
And... for the first time ever with cartoons like this, I painted the outlines, rather than using marker pens (for permanence).

all done, 8ft Goliath, complete with hoop for kiddies to throw tennis balls at.

also complete is the backdrop No.1.... Outlines done by me, colouring in done by others. bless 'em. hahahaha
