and then this... sorry.

I saw this at the other place
and was impressed.
It's not at all a pleasing subject but I really do like the technique and product.
I wish it was a lotbit bigger so I could steal methods of painting ;) examine it better.
edit:// damn, now my post looks odd because the html strikeouts work fine in preview but are stripped from the actual post.

this is the biggest i've got
I think the 280 wide version for the other place might've been pushing my luck a bit, but i've had worse taste stuff fp'd and then go on to get a bazillion views.
anyway, it's just done with a mostly low pressure / hard edged air brush in ps5... I got used to version 5 brushes and could never manage to set up subsequent versions of photoshop the same, so i keep an old copy just for doing stuff like this.

There are so many
illustrators and comic book renderers that talk of Photoshop 5 with fondness. Almost everyone I come across that is in the business talks of the first thing they do is make a photoshop 5 style airbrush when they get a new PS product.
Brian Haberlin made my ps5 style brushes and saved me a lot of effort ;)

Wow cool, i thought it was just me being weird
How'd you do it? Have you got a link? I spent ages trying to set up CS3 but couldn't get it right. Gave up. Didn't think of looking on the web, are there ps5 style .abrs out there then? *goes off to look*

I'm sure there are some out there
but mine came on a tutorial video CD from http://www.digitalarttutorials.com/
I don't have mine handy right now ( on an external drive which is at my mothers while she watches all my TV shows ;)) but I'll get them later and upload them in a zip.

that's a top pic! very nicely done, and completely mad it's in PS5!
Not seen you for ages!

dont post much :(
TW Mail User limpfish  "boo!"  (18/5/08 12:40)
that's a shame,
who needs ideas? I've NEVER got a clue what to do, I just stumble about the internet. :)
