click for biggerer . . original right about here. comp is over. and didn't get many votes, hey ho. but every tile was created from the original pic, and shaped using the warp tool.
taught me a lot. and when i'd done, i started again on the ball. then added lighting, glass depth, and shades etc etc blah.
the most time i've ever spent on a photoshop without being paid. pickles a twat!

no - you're not a muggins for spending ages on an image even though you're not getting paid for it

so much of the paid work is 'a hundred miles an hour with your fingers crossed' kind of stuff
it's really satisfying to spend a lump of time on something - just for the fun / learning / satisfaction you derive
