love the way the top one has colour round the edge diff

from the middle - accentuates it all - tops

Bottom one has a lovely dreamy quality about it !

i really like both of those, the colours are beautiful

and the smudgey style is really impressionisty (can you tell i'm not an art critic?)
i had heard of jay adams, but only through watching 'dogtown and z-boys' which is a really good documentary

The 'smudgey style' is not so much a technique but rather an easy way to overcome the fact that I'm not that good at details ;)
