not the easiest of mediums to work with.
And... for the first time ever with cartoons like this, I painted the outlines, rather than using marker pens (for permanence).
Hey. Been ages since I posted anything or had any ideas. Decided to ditch my trusty photoshop 5 and try Painter. Struggling, but loving the non destructive rotate.
Attempting a caricature... good likeness? can you tell who it is (cricket bat etc. tends to give it away).
It's my girlfriends birthday tomorrow and she recently got given a load of original illustrations by Rene Gruau
So for her card I turned her into a Gruau drawing. Ta-da.
so I did another. I may do a series if I can google enough about these newfangled sports ;)

However I was quite pleased with this and it's a hell of a lot more work than I've made it look ;) ( I even had to model David Icke's head in 3D just to get the sleeping face I wanted )
